ADOPTION PENDING
With his soulful eyes and his steady, trusting gaze, Mr Peabody radiates a desire to please. He came to us from a shelter in Mississippi and his new foster mom says he is smart and very eager to adapt and obey. He tries very hard to correct his behavior when asked by either a human or another dog. He has done very well with two other big dogs in his household. She also shares that Peabo has the cutest gait when he is excited. He prances proudly as if he is a Major leading his marching band. He also loves to play fetch with a tennis ball AND will bring it back! Foster mom recently had company over and Mr Peabody gladly met each of them making them feel welcome. By the end of the evening each of her friends had fallen in love with him. While Mr Peabody has a high energy level when playing, he is a very calm and quiet dog otherwise. He walks well on leash and is doing excellent with house training. Mr Peabody takes his meals in his crate (part of his crate conditioning) and sleeps quietly through the night there as well. He rides well in the car, was well behaved during his bath, and didn't seem to have any reaction to a loud storm. Peabo Is heartworm negative and ready to go on a sleepover!
