Bagel the beagle is the snuggliest snuggle bug!  Although she doesn’t love to be picked up for more than a minute, Bagel will happily sit on your lap/chest and nuzzle into your neck while you’re sitting or lying down. Her foster mom says you’re not allowed to go anywhere in the house without her and when you leave she will tell you how much she missed you. She seems to love everyone she meets. Bagel adjusted very quickly to her foster home and, other than the first day, she has had no accidents. She uses the doggie door to go outside and does fine in her crate. Bagel has shown no interest in the cats she lives with, and although she has noticed the chickens, she doesn’t bother them.  She would be fine as an only dog or with other dogs. She is occasionally playful with the 1 year old Golden Retriever in her foster home. Bagel Is heartworm positive and we will schedule her treatment the last week in August. She could go on sleepover before that time If adopters were willing and able to observe post-treatment restrictions. Bagel is a little treasure!
