ADOPTION PENDING

Jordan has just come to us from a county shelter and really impressed us with how easily he fit into his foster home. He interacts well with the other dogs and is playful but not pushy with the ones who have no interest in playing. He actually seems quite content to spend more time in the air-conditioned house curled up in a comfy dog bed than outside. For a 1-year-old dog, his energy level Is quite moderate. He is making straight A's in house training, but it should be noted that he picked up on the dog door immediately and can go out into a fenced yard when he needs to do his business. Although he is not a huge fan of the crate, he is learning that the crate is where he gets fed and gets his bedtime treats at night. Jordan is not overly vocal, but his foster family is retired and so we are unsure how he might be when left alone. He is a little submissive with people but easily affectionate and gives sweet, gentle kisses. He is delightfully heartworm negative and ready to meet his new family!
