Gus is the definition of a good boy. He is well mannered often waiting for permission to go through doors or lay on furniture. He's keen on dog beds and his crate. His crate is his safe space but he is so well behaved that he is not crated at night or when the family is away from home. Gus is friendly with new folks but will crouch down when approached. At this point in time, he seems to like affection on his terms. He's very food motivated and acts like a puppy during meal times. His personality has seemed to be a bit reserved, but, he is becoming more interactive with his foster family. He has very short bursts of energy where he'll run around with his foster siblings but these are less than a minute at a time. Gus is heartworm positive and will be treated mid-July.
